سوئیچ شبکه هوآوی مدل CE6810-LI-B00 دارای چهل و هشت پورت نوری 10GE SFP + اترنت و چهار پورت نوری 40GE QSFP + اترنت است که در پشت این سوئیچ پورت کنسول ، پورت USB ودو اسلات فن و دو اسلات منبع تغذیه تعبیه شده است. پورت QSFP با داشتن پورت های SFP چهار کاناله می توانند نرخ انتقال را تا حداکثر4x1Gbps بالا ببرند و پورت های +QSFP با داشتن رابط های +SFP چهار کاناله می توانند نرخ انتقال را تا حداکثر 4x10Gbps بالا ببرند.

سوئیچ شبکه هوآوی مدل CE6810-LI-B00 با ظرفیت 1.28 Tbit/s و نرخ حمل و نقل 60 Mpps داده های شبکه را انتقال می دهد که از از 128 هزار کاربر پشتیبانی می کند. A Layer 3 switch needs to know a destination MAC address when forwarding traffic, because the Layer 3 switch encapsulates the IP packet in a Layer 2 packet (MAC layer packet) and sends the Layer 2 packet to a MAC interface on a device directly attached to the Layer 3 switch. The device can be the packet final destination or the next-hop router toward the destination.

The Layer 3 switch encapsulates IP packets in Layer 2 packets regardless of whether the ultimate destination is locally attached or is multiple router hops away. Because the Layer 3 switch IP route table and IP forwarding cache contain IP address information but not MAC address information, the Layer 3 switch cannot forward IP packets based solely on the information in the route table or forwarding cache. The Layer 3 switch needs to know the MAC address that corresponds with the IP address of either the packet locally attached destination or the next-hop router that leads to the destination.

سوئیچ های POE می تواند سیگنال ها را تا ۱۰۰m منتقل کند . این محدودیت به خاطر محدودیت قدرت (برق) نیست. بله به خاطراستانداردهای کابل کشی Ethernet است که این محدودیت با استفاده از توسعه دهنده های سوئیچ POE بر طرف می شود و می توان این فاصله را تا ۱۲۰۰ متر (۴۰۰۰ feet) رساند. عدم سازگاری سوئیچ های POE با دستگاه های ناسازگار با تکنولوژی POE . با استفاده از POE Spliter (اسپیلیتر POE ) بر سره راه دستگاهایه غیره سازگار با تکنولوژی POE , نگرانی نسبت به استفاده از این دستگاها در شبکه وجود نخواهید داشت. بایدبه این نکته توجه کرد که Power Budget و ماکسیکوم قدرتی ( برق ) که سوئیچ POE بر روی هر پورت منتقل می کند توانایی تامین برق دستگاهی که به سوئیچ متصل است را دارد یا خیر.

انواع استانداردهای POE

تکنولوژِی POE بر اساس استاندارد جهانی IEEE 802 عمل می کند. که انواع آن را با پسوند های “af” , “at” یا PoE+ , “bt” یا “UPoE” نشان می دهند. که خلاصه ای از ۴ نوع استاندارد در جدول زیر میتوانید مشاهده کنید. (+Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE استانداردی است که در سال ۲۰۰۹ معرفی شد . که با عنوان IEEE 802.3at شناخته شده. سوئیچ POE+ توانایی رساندن برق ۳۰W را به دستگاهای متصل به شبکه را دارد.

دلیل ایجاد نوع چهارم از استاندارد های POE تاکید بر برق ۹۰w و Power Budget بالاتر در سوئیچ های POE است که در سیستم های روشنایی ( POE lightin system ) و سایر فناوری های هوشمند مورد نیاز است و با حرکت بیشتر مشاغل به سمته فناوری های هوشمند , استفاده از PD های هوشمند به صورت خودکار و اتوماسیون افزایش می یابد در نتیجه به نیروی برق ببشتری نیاز است .
