N2K-C2348TQ is a Cisco Nexus 2300 Platform Chassis, offering 10G BASE T Fabric Extender, 2 power supplier, 3 Fan Modules, 48x100M/1/10GT (RJ45) + 6x40G QSFP+(req QSFP+) and choice of airflow. Cisco Nexus 2300 platform fabric extenders are the successors to the industry’s widely adopted Cisco Nexus 2000 Series Fabric Extenders. The Nexus 2300 platform with its Cisco fabric extender architecture provides a highly scalable unified server-access platform across a range of connectivity options such as 100 Megabit Ethernet; 1, 10, and 40 Gigabit Ethernet; unified fabric; copper and fiber connectivity; and rack and blade server environments.

سوئیچ شبکه سیسکو مدل N2K-C2348TQ از پلتفرم 2300 نکسوس می‌باشد که بهتر است به نام فابریک اکستندر Fabric Extender یا FEX نامگذاری شود. دارای 48 پورت Base-T RJ45 با سرعت 10G ، شش پورت QSFP+ با سرعت 40G ، سه ماژول فن و 2 منبع تغذیه می باشد که با ظرفیت 1440 Gbps یا 2160 Mpps داده های شبکه را انتقال می دهد. حداکثر سرعت این سوئیچ تا 240 گیگابیت در ثانیه در هر جهت است که این سوئیچ در ابعاد 4.37x 43.94 x 43.36 سانتی متر و وزن 8.0 کیلوگرم در بازار تجهیزات شبکه ارائه گردیده است.

این سوئیچ می تواند سوئیچ های سری 5000 ، 6000 ، 7000 و 9000 به عنوان پرنت خود قبول کند که نسبت به سری 2200 از ظرفیت بالایی برخوردار است.
